Some onsale news, and a look at the new print...
As promised, here's a look at the new print, titled "Sleeping In Light":
This image was created to make good on a promise made long ago to fill a specific spot on a friend's wall inside a tiny cabin, sitting on a remote lake much like this one. My thoughts of the place are most often of the late Autumn mornings on the water, when silence and loneliness seem to invade the valley. Even the stubborn oaks have finally been stripped bare by the wind, the pines have thinned, and the hard frost begins to take hold. The entire world seems on the edge of sleep, just waiting for the ice to come glaze everything over.
Although I prefer to post pics of the actual print, I've already made some of you patient souls wait far too long to get a look (minor elements/colors may change a bit during printing).
I'll make a loud announcement when it'll be available, and post a photo of the actual print asap
********
The second bit of news:
Onsale Time/Date Change! Was going to try to do it Friday afternoon, but a scheduling hassle has thwarted my plans, so... I'll put paypal buttons back up for a 'Holiday' onsale this Monday, Dec. 13th at a random time (most likely in the afternoon EST.) I'm down to just a couple copies of Sea Monsters, so I may just do a lottery to avoid overselling.
*Please note I won't have the new print above for sale at this time ("Sleeping In Light" will be the first print of 2011), but I still wanted to give those who asked a chance to purchase remaining copies of the older prints.
There will be one 'newer' print available--the golf-themed "The Fewest Things" mini print (see header image), and maybe an uncut sheet as well.
********
Also of note:
Been busy getting everything ready for a more productive 2011. Currently the plan is to do at least one screen print per month next year, and I WILL get a mailing list up by the end of the month so I can keep everyone appraised of the new releases.
In related news:
To all who have asked about subscriptions: still considering a few options on that front, I really want to be sure I can handle the production demands before I offer any 'print sub' options.
That's all for now... as always, thanks for listening.-JC

Shipping FYI
**Shipping FYI: Anyone who is still waiting on an overseas shipment--a few have gone missing/are taking forever. I do have replacements held back, just awaiting confirmation that everyone has received what they paid for before the rest go up.
If you haven't received your tube in the next couple of weeks, shoot me an email and I'll check on your individual order. Thanks everyone.

Onsale is off... for now
**UPDATE: Took the 'BUY' buttons down for a count, thanks so much everyone who purchased today.. I'm overwhelmed by the response and so grateful for the support.
Also, please allow at least 2 weeks for shipping (obviously overseas it'll take longer depending on location). I'm a one-man show and like to take some care in hand-doing titles, s/n, packing etc... again, thank you so much for the support everyone!

The Case for Sea Monsters - new print
Here's a chance meeting of Plurigibbosus Novae-Angliae beneath the sunset.. or is the light growing?
Really doesn't matter, it's the same time inbetween, when the sun plays tricks on the eyes... moments when imagination wrestles with intellect, and often wins. The time when ancient tales and legends can seem so real, so close, you can almost reach out and touch them...
Note: I take no responsibility for any injuries and/or damages arising from swimming with sea monsters.

Last In A Line - new print
Hot enough for ya? Yeah, here too. Thought it was the perfect time for a nice snowy, winter-themed print to help cool off... just click on the image above for a larger view.
Because this scene was created specifically to print at the same time with another image, I was strictly limited to the same 5-color palette the previous image used. Sometimes it's a good exercise to be forced into being as creative as possible within strict confines of color or theme, etc.; it can help remind you that just a few colors is often all that's necessary. And now, of course, I can't decide which image I like better.
Keep an eye out for another (smaller) image from this landscape, for those among you who actually use golf courses to golf...

It's About Time...
Well damn.. that was way too long to be out of touch, my apologies.
Aiming to have 2 new prints up for sale in the next week or so, maybe with some other assorted smaller 'stuff'.
Of course, I'll post updates here and at expressobeans.com for all who have inquired. I'll most likely put the remaining copies of "The Way of the World" print up at the same time. Combined shipping is nice, no?
More news on all this very soon.. until then, take a sneak peek at an uncut sheet.
