It's coming together: Subscriptions & stuff
Hello friends- I've been promising some of you for years now that I'd get my act together and offer a yearly subscription. Well after a long delay, happy to report that I've finally nailed down the details and will offer a LE Art Print Subscription for 2013-14.
UPDATE: All subscription slots are filled for this year, thanks everyone!
I'd like to keep the sub number small so I'll give out the purchase info first to the mailing list members, and then if there's any spots left I'll update everyone everywhere else soon after.
To answer 2 common questions I've been getting: Yes, subscription numbers will be assigned first come, first served. And yes, those who sign up will also get first crack at anything done outside the art print subscription (ie Mondo).
"Sound of a New World Being Born" - AP onsale
Thanks again to all who came out to support our 2-man show at Gallery 1988, bought something online or just watched the proceedings from afar. Justin Santora and I had a great time putting the show together, couldn't have asked for a better partner for this endeavor.
Just got the last of my artist's copies in-- after I organize the subscriptions we'll do the AP sale, most likely early next week. Any questions, feel free to shoot me an email -JC

Game of Thrones - "North of the Wall" print for Mondo
I was honored to be able to make a print for the Mondo poster series for HBO's epic Game of Thrones. "North of the Wall" is 36x15.5, 6-color screen print, and will be for sale on Thursday, March 14th at a random time on Mondo's site.
This is the fourth poster released in the series, and the rest will drop as we get closer to the premiere of Season 3 on 3/31.
Can you spot the Mondo logo?

Show 'outtakes'
As much as I got done for the show, there were a few pieces that didn't make it in for some reason (mainly the time crunch). Many of these will likely make it to print in one form or another, but I'll try to tease some of them here before that..
Here's a piece of an image that would have hung next to the other 'Vacation'-themed print:

"The Sound of a New World Being Born" @ Gallery 1988
What a great night... much thanks to all who came out and supported us on Friday. The highlight was definitely getting to meet everyone. I had a blast talking art, screenprints and movies; the night flew by too fast. Hopefully I'll be back soon to catch up with some new friends.
Special thanks to everyone at the gallery for all their help- Katie and Jensen for letting us show in their space, and especially Amber for being so patient with me as I furiously worked onsite for a few days to get ready for the show. Also thanks to Justin Santora, a great artist and great guy- it was a pleasure to meet him for the first time as well. Such beautiful work, his detail is simply mindblowing up close.
If you're in the LA area and want to see the show in person, don't let that huge ugly 'we're moving' sign scare you; although it was the final opening at the space at 7020 Melrose, the show will be up to see until March 23rd. To see and purchase remaining prints and originals from the show, visit Gallery 1988's site.
If sold out, keep in mind I will have a small AP edition of the prints available, and will make that sale announcement ASAP. I'll talk to you soon; until then, some pics from the gallery:
