Geez, less than 1 minute and sold out! I didn't get one :(

Less than 10 secs to be more exact. I was F5 mashing and I still missed it. I checked out as as fast as I could. I'm pretty fast and familiar with these high demand drops.

Feel robbed of a few hours of my life.

Sorry for the frustration guys, not my intention believe me-

Despite my best efforts seems I keep underestimating the Mondo drop craziness. Lottery in the future? May be the way to go.

Thank you for doing this JC. I've been waiting for both the Jurassic Park and Fortress of Solitude prints ever since I missed out on the Mondo sales. I didn't get JP, but I was able to get through on Fortress of Solitude today and I am thrilled.

I can't wait to see what you have coming up in the future.

It's just because your work is so awesome JC it claims a high demand. Ebay here I come.

Love the print & very happy I got one. Forget the lottery system. It should be first come first serve not blind luck. People will always complain about how quickly they sell out due to high demand; that's the way it is. Check out Mondo's comments on FB or Twitter after every release & tons of people are complaining. Some drops you get some you don't. It's a limited release! A couple hundred for the thousands of people that want one. So obviously not everyone will get one. If your unlucky hit up eBay or just move on. I just go Ansin's "Tron Legacy." It's a good print, not the best. But it only cost $50. Would I rather have say a Stout Kill Bill, sure, but I'm not gonna pay $300 on eBay. There will always be another great print. Anyways I'm done ranting, love your work. Can't wait to see something new.

I agree with Pop-Art Emporium, it should not be turned into a lottery determined by luck. I never stopped clicking the refresh key for a straight hour and 45 minutes and my persistency paid off. I've never been fast enough on Mondo, so I appreciate JC hinting that it would be after noon. Thanks JC. Can't wait to see what you create next!

I agree - no lottery. You win some, you lose some. It's the name of the game.

Can't please everyone.

Also, it is admirable that you want to listen to fan concerns.

But, please don't.

People are fickle, whiny and unappreciative. There will always be people who get, and people who don't get. You will run yourself crazy trying to make everyone happy.

Do what works best for you, and as things don't hit the proverbial fan (e.g. oversells, crashed websites etc..), let the chips fall where they may.

No lottery! Even though I missed out today. I'd rather have a shot than not.

It might help a bit if you didn't Tweet when it went up--you have enough people watching the site to sell out instantly without added notification going out to the lazy. Bringing in an even larger crowd of buyers when supplies are limited is just going to frustrate more people. I was hitting F5 for almost two hours and clicked the second it went up, but Paypal wasn't fast enough for me. Oh, well.

No lotteries! Not only can anyone make a thousand email accounts and submit a thousand entries but the fans are the ones F5ing your page waiting for the chance to try for it. If you really want it, you are going to F5 for it. You may not get it but you had a better chance at it. Plus, people will still whine that they didn't win the lottery.
